The world today is affected by many social issues that need to be addressed. We therefore focus to equip our students with knowledge life skills, and competences that will help them avail support to society in addressing it's challenges. These include; need for quality health care delivery, psychological needs support, community and resource mobilization.
St. Luke's opened its door in January 1991, with the 1st Pre-service class to train Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN). In September 1998 the school admitted an In-service class (upgrading from Kenya enrolled community health nurse KECHN to KRCHN). Distance Learning Classes(Part-time) was introduced and the 1st class was in March 2005. The school is planning to start soon a Higher Diploma in Critical Care, Theatre Nursing and Nephrology programs.
