
Program Overview
Our Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) program is a rigorous 3-year course designed to produce competent, compassionate nurses capable of addressing community health challenges. Accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), this program combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training to prepare graduates for diverse healthcare settings.
Entry Requirements
- Mean Grade: C Plain and Above
- Biology: C Plain and Above
- English/Swahili: C Plain and Above
- Other Sciences: Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics with minimum C-
Program Structure
The KRCHN curriculum is divided into six semesters covering:
- Foundation nursing sciences
- Community health and epidemiology
- Medical-surgical nursing
- Maternal and child health
- Mental health nursing
- Health systems management

Clinical Practice
Students complete over 1,200 hours of supervised clinical practice in:
